Conservation, Planning and
Small Practice Advisory groups of architect practitioners with specialist
capabilities and interests have been established by ACA.
The purpose of each panel is to exchange views, respond to draft
legislation and matters of public concern, assist other member practitioners
where appropriate and draw attention to the wide range of skills
deployed by architects in their work.
Members only of the Association of Consultant Architects can belong
to its advisory groups and regional groups although non members may
attend regional group meetings from time to time at the invitation
of an existing member. Seminars put on by any of the groups are generally
open to members and non-members alike.

ACA Planning Advisory
Group (ACAPAG) |
The architect-planners forming ACAPAG aim to help create better understanding
between the two professions, encourage better use by architects
of the existing planning system to realise their designs, and secure
improvements to the system itself.
